After mocking Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’, Elon Musk has made headlines again, this time, for sharing an AI-generated trailer for ‘Iliad’ – inspired by Homer’s epic story of the Trojan War – which was created using xAI’s newly released Grok Imagine 1.5 video creation model.Musk posted the video on his page, and praised the technology used in the project, writing, “Iliad (Troy) trailer produced by Grok Imagine 1.5, just released.”

The trailer, created by the account Heavy Pulp, reimagines key moments from Homer’s legendary story. It begins with a stunning depiction of the blond-haired, blue-eyed Helen of Troy gazing at the walls of Troy, before transitioning to scenes of Achilles rallying his warriors.

The trailer then moves through several iconic moments associated with the Trojan War, including Helen’s arrival in Troy, the large-scale battles outside the city walls, the construction of the Trojan Horse, the priests’ veneration of the gods, and ultimately the fall of the famous city.
