SiriusXM has partnered with the Fox-owned free streaming service on a distribution and advertising deal for a selection of its podcasts. Additional titles coming soon to Tubi include: School of greatness and Deep 3 podcastwith more to come.

The deal is non-exclusive, meaning the podcast has no exclusivity window on Tubi and will remain available on YouTube and other audio and distribution platforms. This is different from the deals that Spotify, iHeartMedia and others have recently struck with Netflix. SiriusXM is not significantly partnered with Netflix at the moment.

Instead, the Tubi deal provides broader video distribution on some of the audio giant’s top podcasts, including its true crime podcast. Rotten mango and conan obrien needs a friend, Both are in the top 20 podcasts in the United States, according to Edison Research. The shows are expected to be streamed on Tubi starting late June.

“In podcasting, audio has long thrived on widespread distribution across platforms, helping shows grow and connect with new audiences wherever people choose to listen,” said Andrew Moss, senior vice president of content strategy and development at SiriusXM. “We’re applying the same philosophy to video – expanding our creators’ reach across phones, computers and connected TVs so more fans can discover their shows in more places. Bringing our content to Tubi is another step in helping creators grow their audiences and businesses while continuing to expand the reach of video podcasting.”

Tubi built on its podcasting ambitions following its acquisition of Red Seat Ventures and after signing a multi-year contract with Ashley Flowers, host of Crime addictand her audio group Audiochuck.

“Tubi is a platform designed to help creators grow their audiences and revenue, and this partnership with SiriusXM is a natural extension of that,” said Rich Bloom, GM of Creator Programs and Executive Vice President of Business Development at Tubi. “By bringing some of the most compelling voices in podcasting to Tubi, we’re giving creators a powerful new way to expand their reach and connect with viewers hungry for these stories. We’re committed to being a platform where creators scale — and we’re just getting started.”
