Madhuri Dixit talks about how she wants to be remembered
During the interaction, Madhuri was asked how she wants fans to remember her legacy after decades of entertaining audiences.“I want people to remember me for how I made them feel,” said the actress, who kept her response simple and honest.
The secret to a lasting relationship
Madhuri also shared her thoughts on what makes a relationship last in today’s fast-paced world.“I think mutual respect and pride in each other’s victories and being there for each other in your losses. There should be respect and love and everything should be there, but I think you should always be together in your goals and make sure your kids and your family are always taken care of, and that you’re there for each other as well,” she said.Tripti echoed similar sentiments, stressing the importance of friendship in a relationship.“I think friendship is very, very necessary because love as a feeling can fade away after a while, but friendship, respect and just being there for each other in difficult times is important. Life is not always in one line; there are ups and downs. You can’t just be there in the good times. You have to be there in the bad times as well,” she said. She also added, “Consistency is very important. Not taking each other for granted is something we should always keep in mind.”
Madhuri talks about changing the work culture in Bollywood
Speaking about how the industry has evolved over the years, Madhuri spoke about the era when actors routinely worked double shifts.“I think it’s more organized now. When we do a project, it has a set number of days and you know where you’re going to shoot and what you’re going to do. And then you can plan your own life as well,” she explained.Recalling her earlier years in the industry, she added, “We used to do double shifts for two different films. We would shoot from 9 to 6 for one person and then continue for another film until late at night. Today, we shoot just one film and be completely present for it. That’s all we will do for the next 30-40 days.”
