Complete list of IPL 2026 awards: Who won Orange Cap, Purple Cap, MVP and Best Catch?

New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bengaluru defended their title in emphatic fashion, outperforming Gujarat Titans in all departments to clinch their second successive Indian Premier League title with a five-wicket win in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.

As RCB completed their successful title defence, fans across the country exploded in celebration, setting off fireworks and cheering for their team to celebrate another historic achievement.With this victory, RCB becomes only the third franchise in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians to win back-to-back titles.

While RCB lifted the trophy, the season belonged to Rajasthan Royals’ star batsman Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

The 15-year-old enjoyed a fantastic season and swept the individual titles after a record-breaking season.Sooryavanshi finished as the tournament’s top scorer with 776 points and was awarded the Orange Cap. He also won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award, Player of the Season Award, Super Striker of the Season Award with a batting average of 237.3, and the Super Sixes Award after smashing 72 sixes during the tournament.

Gujarat Titans’ Kagiso Rabada won the Purple Cap after becoming the highest wicket-taker this season with 29 wickets.Punjab Kings received the Fairplay Award for their exemplary conduct throughout the tournament.RCB’s Manish Pandey won the Catch of the Season award for his stunning one-handed catch at backward point to dismiss Tim David during a league stage match against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Gujarat Titans’ Mohammad Siraj received the Green Dot Ball Award for the most dot balls in the season, as he made 172 dot balls.Gujarat Titans’ Sai Sudharsan was honored for scoring the most runs in the tournament, finishing with 75 boundaries.The Bengal Cricket Association won the Stadium and Ground award in the category of venues hosting five or more matches, while the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association won the award in the category of venues hosting four or fewer matches.
