Producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu has come forward to highly praise Silambarasan for his dedication and discipline during the shooting of ‘Arasan’. The film, directed by Vetrimaaran, is expected to be released during Diwali this year.
Over the past few months, several rumors have been doing the rounds on social media claiming that the shooting of the film was delayed due to Silambarasan arriving late on the sets. Responding to the allegations for the first time, Thanu denied the rumors and shared his experience of working with the actor.
Thanu says Silambarasan arrives early In groups
As reported by ABP Live, Thanu said that he initially planned to talk about Silambarasan during the audio launch of the film but decided to address the topic now.
According to him, Silambarasan has been growing his hair for almost a year for another project directed by Desingh Periyasamy. However, after hearing the script for ‘Arasan’, the actor is said to have put the other project aside and completely transformed himself for Vetrimaaran’s film.
Silambarasan arrives on set about an hour before the scheduled time and works with full participation, Thanu said. He also praised the actor as a ‘solo artist’ who continues to impress everyone on the sets with his performances.
The producer talks about Simbu’s health problem during the shoot
Thanu also addressed reports regarding Silambarasan’s health during the film’s schedule in Kovilpatti. He confirmed that the actor faced health problems while filming there. However, the producer explained that director Vetrimaaran himself advised Silambarasan to take rest and recover properly. Thanu said that the actor remains very committed to delivering more than what the director expects from him in every scene.
According to him, Silambarasan is fully focused on making the film special and wants to please the director with his hard work and dedication.
The ‘Arasan’ team is confident of the film’s huge success
The producer also expressed confidence that ‘Arasan’ will be a huge hit in Silambarasan’s career. He compared making a film to a sculptor carefully shaping a beautiful statue. Thanu revealed that he recently watched a scene from the film and was very impressed with how Silambarasan looked on screen. He also stated that the actor personally requested Anirudh Ravichander to compose the music for the film.
With strong performances and Vetrimaaran’s direction, expectations for ‘Arasan’ continue to grow among fans.
