Vashu Bhagnani Row: The multiplex chain rejects reports of legal action against his production house; He calls it

As Vashu Bhagnani finds himself in the middle of a growing legal storm in Bollywood, a new media report alleging that PVR Inox was planning to sue his production company, Puja Films, has been strongly denied.

The multiplex giant issued an official statement calling the story “misleading and speculative” and took the opportunity to publicly praise Jackie Bhagnani’s way of handling business affairs.

According to a Bollywood Hungama report, PVR Inox was gearing up for legal action against Puja Films over pending dues associated with a three-film deal worth Rs 100 crore between the two companies. The claim came to light immediately after news broke that Vashu Bhagnani had filed a separate Rs 400-crore lawsuit in the Bombay High Court against Tips Industries, comprising Ramesh Taurani and Kumar Taurani, and director David Dhawan, in connection with the film ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’.Taking to Instagram, the multiplex chain issued a detailed rebuttal. The statement read: “We have taken notice of a recent media report relating to PVRINOX Pictures and Mr. Vashu Bhagnani. The contents of the story are misleading and speculative in nature and do not accurately reflect the facts or the nature of the relationship between the parties. PVRINOX Pictures and the Bhagnani family share a long-standing and friendly professional relationship built over years of cooperation and mutual respect.”

“We do not believe it is appropriate to discuss the details of any commercial arrangements in the public domain,” the company added.

The Multiplex series pays tribute to Jackky Bhagnani’s professionalism

Far from denying the report, the theater chain used the statement to offer rare public praise for Jackie Pagnani. The statement noted: “We would also like to place on record our appreciation for Jackie Bhagnani’s handling of all matters between the two companies. Jackie has consistently demonstrated professionalism and a deep commitment to carrying forward the legacy of Vashu Ji.

Our interactions with him have always been constructive and collaborative.

The statement concluded by calling on the media to bear responsibility, adding: “We call on the media and stakeholders to exercise due diligence and refrain from drawing conclusions based on inaccurate and unconfirmed reports.”

Vashu Bhagnani’s production house responds warmly

Puja Films echoed the sentiments on their Instagram, thanking PVR Inox for their support and emphasizing that they highly value the relationship and look forward to more successful collaborations in the future.
