A 17-year-old accused in the murder of a 17-year-old youth in Ghaziabad’s Khoda district was killed after an encounter with police in the early hours of Sunday morning, officials said.
The accused, a resident of the Khoda area, is wanted in connection with the stabbing incident of an eleventh-grade student who died of his wounds on Friday while receiving treatment.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dhawal Jaiswal, said in a press statement that the main accused was injured during an exchange of fire with a police team in the Khoda area.
He was taken to hospital where he died during treatment.
