Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen in the upcoming sports drama ‘Peddi’ sharing screen with Ram Charan. Before the film’s release, the actress shared an interesting experience from her international travels. She went on to share how people outside India mostly get to know Indian cinema through Ram Charan Jr NTR and the blockbuster film ‘RRR’.
Janhvi Kapoor talks about her experience at the airport
In a conversation with IANS, the ‘Devara’ actress revealed that she was recently in America when she noticed how popular Ram Charan and ‘RRR’ are all over the world. She said that even immigration officers at airports often mention the names of Ram Charan and Junior NTR when they know that she is an actress.Sharing her experience, Janhvi said, “I was in America recently, and I have to tell everyone that the reference point for Indians now is you. Even when migrating, they ask: ‘Are you an actor?’ And I say: Yes, I am an actor. Then they say: ‘Oh yes, RRR… Ram Charan… NTR,’ and I say: ‘Sure!'”

The song “Naatu Naatu” also won Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards.Talking about ‘Peddi’, the film marks Janhvi Kapoor’s second outing in Telugu and interestingly it has something to do with the ‘RRR’ star as her first projects remain starring Jr NTR star ‘Devara’ who plays the female lead.
