Bhojpuri cinema star Ravi Kishan recently reacted to the song and appreciated Akshay Kumar for embracing Bhojpuri culture in a mainstream Bollywood project. In an interview with Variety, the actor spoke about how language barriers in music and cinema are slowly disappearing as audiences connect with content from different regions.
Sharing his thoughts on the growing popularity of Bhojpuri entertainment, Ravi Kishan said in the interview, “I am very happy to see a Bollywood star making this crossover. There is no such thing as Hindi, Telugu or Bhojpuri music anymore. Success is success, regardless of the language. There was a time when I was the only actor who believed there was hope in the Bhojpuri film industry. I have worked hard in every department – sitting on scripts, music sessions, casting, etc.”
