“The Handmaid’s Tale” has been one of the most popular series in the past couple of years. Now, with the final chapter of the series coming to an end, the spin-off “The Testaments” has created a huge buzz around the world.
As the first season ended, fans were left wondering who would return for season 2 or not.

While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, series creator Bruce Miller opened up about the future of the series and who will be returning to the show. Elisabeth Moss, who led The Handmaid’s Tale, is all set and ready to reprise her role.Chase Infinity, along with Lucy Halliday, Ann Dowd, Mabel Lee, Brad Alexander, Mattia Conforti, and Rowan Blanchard, will return to reprise their roles in the series.
Other cast members from Season 1 will likely return for Season 2; However, this has not been confirmed. These include Isolde Ardez, Amy Seimetz, Nate Corddry, Charlie Carrick, and Keira Gullwyn.However, there are some regular faces from the show who will not be joining the ensemble in Season 2 of ‘The Testatments’. Randall Edwards, who played Dr. Groff, will not return for season two.
His character was killed off in the ninth episode of the first season, making it unlikely that he will return anytime soon. Another cast member who will not be joining the upcoming season includes Kate Hewlett as Mrs.
grove.Towards the end of the show, Mrs. Groff takes the blame for the murder Becca is accused of after being convinced by the girls. This leads to her untimely death at the end of Episode 10.
Bruce Miller talks about “The Commandments”
During his interview, Miller talked about the show and what fans can expect from season two. He stated, “We’re very excited and deep into figuring out what to do for Season 2. The writers room has been working for a while. Our younger actresses are younger. And no matter how much money you put into them, they’re not going to stay younger. Time is ticking, and we desperately want to stay on track to make this show as regular as possible.”
I think our cast is amazing, and I want to make sure we use them as they fit the role.
