Actress Sandhya Mridul has highlighted the lack of functional toilets on the New Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, despite its astonishing speed and convenience. While praising the reduction in travel time, she sarcastically advised travelers to “carry their own utensils,” noting the lack of basic amenities despite signage at the rest area. Mridul has previously used intelligence to address public concerns.
Sandhya Mridul sarcastically criticized the lack of toilet facilities on the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway while praising the new road for reducing travel time. The actress shared a video from her trip on Tuesday, saying that the route looked impressive and made driving easier, but travelers still had to deal with the lack of proper restrooms along the way.

According to IANS, Sandhya Mridul posted the video on her social media account while traveling from Delhi to Dehradun. She spoke in a light but sharp tone about the newly built highway and noted that basic public facilities were not ready, despite signboards indicating rest areas.
“It’s an amazing, amazing highway between Delhi and Dehradun. I mean it really reduces the driving time, it’s amazing, it’s very convenient,” Sandhya said in the video.She then added a sarcastic line about there being no restrooms on the long road. “I’m so glad I’m carrying my own food container, because there are no toilets on the way.”The actress also made fun of the route planning. She said signs indicate rest areas, but travelers are not yet able to use the appropriate facilities. “Amazing layout, amazing highway,” Sandia said as she continued digging. “Just carry your own pots and everything will be fine.”
