Julia Louis-Dreyfus will make her Broadway debut Other desert citiesalong with Allison Janney, Ed Harris, and more.

Joe Keery and Lily Rabe will also appear in the revival of John Robin Baetz’s play, directed by John Benjamin Hickey. Other desert cities It will play a limited 16-week engagement at Broadway’s Hudson Theater, with previews beginning September 29 before opening night on October 18. The play is about a politically connected family whose Christmas Eve is turned upside down when their daughter reveals that she has written a tell-all book about a family tragedy they tried to keep secret. The play premiered off-Broadway in January 2011 and was transferred that year. It was a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Hickey will make his Broadway debut with Plaza Suite, starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, in 2022.

Keery makes his Broadway debut following his breakout role in the Netflix hit Strange things. Rapp, who was previously Tony-nominated for her role as Portia Merchant of VeniceHe returns to Broadway after recently appearing in the TV series Shrink.
