The much-awaited rural sports drama ‘Peddi’, starring global superstar Ram Charan and directed by Bushi Babu Sanna, is gearing up for a major global release on June 4. As part of the promotions, the team held a press meet in Bengaluru on Monday (May 25). The event was attended by Ram Charan, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkummar, Jhanvi Kapoor and producer Venkata Satish Kilaru. Shiva Rajkummar spoke emotionally about his role in the film Peddi. As reported by NTV Telugu, he said, “I always choose characters that are close to my heart. Gournayudu is also one such role. It has a strong purpose and a meaningful journey. It has been beautifully crafted by director Buchi Babu.” He added that his character acts as a coach in the story and plays an important emotional role. He also said, “Bedi’s journey is special, and many characters come his way, which makes the story richer.
According to him, the emotional bond between his character and Ram Charan will be one of the highlights of the film.

Shiva Rajkummar did not hesitate to praise Ram Charan’s performance. He said: “I strongly believe that Ram Charan will get it

He also appreciated director Buchi Babu Sanna, saying that the film was made exactly the way the story required it. Shiva Rajkummar also hinted that the climax of the film will be a big surprise that can only be experienced in theatres.

Shiva Rajkumar also noted that he carefully constructs his characters after discussing them with directors and prefers meaningful roles. He revealed that he is currently working on a biopic titled ‘Gummadi Narsaiah’ and is also a part of ‘Jailer 2’ alongside Rajinikanth. Meanwhile, Ram Charan also spoke emotionally at the event, saying that working with Shiva Rajkummar was a dream moment for him. He described the film “Peddi” as one of the most honest films in his career and stressed that the team worked with complete honesty to provide an unforgettable cinematic experience.
