The hype around ‘Peddi’, one of the most awaited Hindi films starring Ram Charan, continues to grow with every update. Ahead of its release, the film’s team, including Ram Charan, Jhanvi Kapoor and Shiva Rajkummar, attended a grand press meet in Bengaluru.
While the event was intended to celebrate the film’s promotion, it quickly became controversial after a disturbing video surfaced online showing chaos near the stage involving security personnel and fans.

A clip from the Bengaluru event sparked strong reactions on social media. From the video that went viral, one can see a few female fans being forcibly handled by the security guards who stopped them from approaching the stage in an attempt to catch a glimpse of Ram Charan.
The whole situation turned into chaos, prompting netizens to express their anger at what happened. They questioned why the public was not treated better and criticized the actor for not intervening amidst the chaos.
The producers and lead actors have not addressed this concern at the time of writing.

The makers have already locked in the release strategy for ‘Peddi’, and the film is scheduled to be released globally on June 4, 2026, with a premiere planned for the previous day on June 3. The film has been certified U/A 16+ by the CBFC with a runtime of 189 minutes. Even as promotions for releases and music events continue, the film remains under close public attention following recent excitement and controversy.
