FWICE interrupts Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh responds to FWICE
Shortly after the announcement, Ranveer responded in an official statement through his spokesperson. “Ranveer Singh holds the highest regard for the film fraternity and everyone associated with the Don franchise. Throughout the recent developments surrounding Don 3, he has consciously chosen to maintain silence, believing that professional discussions and personal equations are best handled with dignity, maturity and mutual respect,” the statement read.
“Confirming that the actor will maintain his silence on the matter, the statement went on to add: “Despite numerous accounts and speculations surfacing over time, Ranveer has never considered it necessary to publicly respond or contribute to conjecture. His focus remains firmly on his work and commitments ahead. He continues to have deep respect and goodwill for all involved and sincerely wishes the series a continued success.”
Choosing restraint and grace in such moments has always been a conscious decision on his part, and he will continue to maintain the same attitude.”
About the “Don 3” controversy.
The controversy erupted following a complaint filed by directors Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani with FWICE, alleging that they incurred losses of around Rs 45 crore during the pre-production of ‘Don 3’ after Ranveer exited the project at the last minute.“We will no longer work with Ranveer Singh whether he is a cameraman, a spot boy, lighting workers or anyone else from our side. This non-cooperation will continue until the dispute is settled. An artist becomes an artist because of the people, because of the members who work with us, the technicians, those who watch the films. You are leaving a film that many people have worked on for three years,” Ashok Dubey, honorary general secretary of FWICE, said at a press conference.
Is Ranveer Singh heading the legal route?
According to reports, Ranveer in his statement also noted that the issues raised were “contractual” in nature and would require “adjudication before the appropriate legal forum”.
FWICE is open to meet Ranveer Singh
The federation also indicated that it remains open to resolving the issue amicably. “FWICE remains open to meeting with Mr. Ranveer Singh to hear his side of this matter and move forward towards an amicable and final solution to the benefit of both parties,” the statement added.
