Drew Carey took to social media to criticize Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt.
“Anyone who votes for, or supports, Spencer Bratvall for LA Mayor needs to get their head out of their ass,” Curry wrote on Threads. “I understand you being angry/unsatisfied, but at least support someone competent and not a serial con man with no soul or moral compass. Fuck this guy already.”
Former reality star Pratt (credits include The Hills, Princes of Malibu and I’m a celebrity…get me out of here!) is one of several candidates running for mayor of Los Angeles, running against incumbent Karen Bass. The primary election takes place on June 2.
Pratt announced his candidacy in January 2026, a year after the Palisades wildfires destroyed his family home. He became an outspoken activist in the wake of the fire. Bass was also widely criticized for her handling of multiple fires — which also included the Eaton Fire — that burned through Los Angeles in January 2025.
Those supporting Pratt include Joe Rogan and President Donald Trump. Meanwhile, Pratt’s sister, Stephanie, has expressed her opposition to him becoming mayor.
It was reported earlier this month that he had signed a deal to do a reality show about his career, but his representatives played down the idea: “It’s not working because there’s no signed contract. Nothing has been asked, nothing has been filmed, there’s no contact or deal of any kind. The cameras haven’t been rolled and there are absolutely no plans to shoot the cameras.”
He has portrayed himself as nonpartisan but Republicans support his campaign Hollywood Reporter I mentioned previously.
