Karan Johar got emotional after David Dhawan revealed that ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ will be his last film. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Karan spoke about the heartfelt talk he had with David at the event, in which the veteran director revealed that ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ will mark the end of his filmmaking journey.
Karan also didn’t hesitate to share how much the news affected him. “Yesterday when I went to Davidji’s celebration and he told me that this would be his last film… I had a bittersweet reaction in my heart.
“..here is a filmmaker responsible for creating an entire genre of films… David Dhawan’s film epitomizes entertaining entertainment,” Karan wrote on Instagram Stories.The director added: “How must he feel when he says this when he is an institution that so many filmmakers have looked to as an inspiration….
