Harry Kane shone for Bayern Munich by scoring a stunning hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Stuttgart in the final of the German Cup, also known as the DFB Pokal. The victory helped Bayern complete the domestic double after winning the German League title earlier this season. The match was briefly overshadowed by fan protests against the German Football Association over proposed security measures. Fans of both clubs raised banners and set off huge fireworks, filling the stadium with smoke and causing poor visibility during the match.
Despite the chaotic atmosphere, Kane took the lead in the second half. He opened the scoring in the 55th minute with a header from Michael Olise’s cross.
Shortly after, fireworks launched by Bayern fans led to a short halt to play due to smoke surrounding the stadium.Kane continued to disturb Stuttgart’s defense and almost scored again after he shot a powerful ball that hit the crossbar. Finally, he scored his second goal in the 80th minute after an assist from Luis Diaz, calmly scoring into the bottom corner. In stoppage time, Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller awarded a penalty kick for handball, allowing Kane to complete his hat-trick from the spot. The striker finished the season with 61 goals in all competitions, including the Bundesliga, German Cup, Champions League and Super Cup.The win was also Bayern’s first appearance in a German Cup final since 2000, when they last completed the domestic double. Kane’s performance capped a dream season for both striker and club.
