Actress Jyotika recently reacted to the overwhelming response Karuppu received from the audience and expressed her happiness with the commercial success of the film. While interacting with Sudhir Srinivasan, the host compared Karuppu to Vikram Kamal Haasan and noted that while the film may not necessarily be considered Suriya’s best work from a critical point of view, it provided the theatrical celebration that fans were looking for.Responding to this remark, Jyotika said, “We are very overwhelmed. Suriya loves telling good stories and always makes sure there is a story in every film.
But I think box office numbers are also needed for heroes. Or for actors, any actor, any budget. No one is here to be confused.
