After his death, Stuart McLean’s friend Jeff Seymour said the “Virgin River” actor had missed a scheduled day of filming last week, which was completely inappropriate for him. Jeffy, an acting coach and actor, was a friend of the late McLean for eight years.Speaking about his doubts after the actor’s disappearance, Jeffy told The Canadian Press: “He was meticulous about everything, and there would be no chance of screwing it up or sleeping too late.
“As soon as I heard he couldn’t make it on Saturday morning, I knew there was a big problem.”

“It’s very overwhelming, and it hits me in ways where I’ll suddenly think, ‘Oh, Stu,’ and realize I can’t connect with him now,” Seymour said.Highlighting how much everyone loved Stuart, he added, “Everyone loved that guy; it wasn’t like he was engaging in nefarious activities or, you know, running around with another crowd. I mean he was a bit of a loner. He spent a lot of time reading and being at home down there in Squamish.”He concluded by saying, “I would like to see justice done.”
