Last February, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s stunned face went viral after he was arrested and interrogated.

The authorities were requesting evidence while investigating him and collecting evidence.

Now, police have revealed they are looking into a very specific report of sexual misconduct by the disgraced former prince.

Not being a prince is a consequence, not a legal penalty. there He hopes That Andrew could face real accountability through the justice system.

Police aren’t mincing words as they seek new evidence

Authorities in the UK are investigating Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor over allegations of sexual misconduct.

Thames Valley Police issued a press release on Friday 22 May.

According to the statement, inspectors (British Detectives) are looking into an alleged incident involving a woman and the disgraced former prince in 2010.

Investigators hope the woman will cooperate. They have contacted her attorney, but have not publicly released her name.

The statement confirms that they promised to handle the investigation “with care, sensitivity, and respect for her privacy and her right to anonymity.”

It seems like this particular woman might need a lot of convincing.

Historically, police investigations into allegations of sexual misconduct often appear to be investigations of the victim as much as they are investigations of the perpetrator—if not more so.

(There is a whole and very successful TV series – Law & Order: SVU – Addressing these deficiencies in policing from an imaginative standpoint has actually had some positive effects when pushing for reforms, such as rolling back the backlog of rape kits across the country.)

In the case of Andrew’s accusers, one can only imagine the kind of pressure they faced when they accused Queen Elizabeth’s son of wrongdoing.

The whole world has learned a lot about Andrew since then, as it saw contradictory images from Epstein’s files. We hope this means women can share their horror stories without fear of reprisal.

The scandal turned into something worse months ago, when the photos became public

Last year, the Epstein files began to be published.

They haven’t come out yet, as required by law, because Trump’s Justice Department is openly defying Congress.

However, not all of the abusers in the disclosed files receive the extensive redactions and protections that Trump himself received.

Andrew’s name and photographs appear widely.

One particularly damning image shows the obnoxious king standing over an unidentified woman or girl on the floor of a room. She is lying down, and it is not clear if she is conscious.

There are limits to how far a (now former) Duke and Prince can protect someone from the law.

King Charles has stripped Andrew of his princely title and lands as the Royal Company seeks to distance itself from him.

William and Kate reportedly hate Andrew. Whether this is true or just a story circulated to separate them from his alleged crimes remains unknown.

Some have mistakenly viewed his stripping of his royal privileges as legal consequences, as if it were a trial, conviction, or prison sentence.

But, as with other tough guys who don’t (at most, usually) get some movie roles after being exposed as monsters, it’s a mistake to confuse people who avoid associations with criminal punishments.

Social sanctions are only the first step when someone is revealed to be an absolute contemptible. The legal process is longer and requires different types of evidence. But there is He hopes That Andrew can actually be held accountable.
