In FY2026, NTPC's consolidated earnings rise by 15%.

NEW DELHI: Energy giant NTPC on Saturday reported a 15% rise in consolidated profits, which rose from Rs 23,953 crore in 2024-25 to Rs 27,546 crore in 2025-26. The group’s strong performance was boosted by a 29% increase in the joint venture’s profit share, which reached Rs 2,864 crore, along with Rs 3,312 crore contributed by its subsidiaries, it said, as it announced the audited financial results for the full financial year.

On a standalone basis, NTPC’s profit rose 18% to Rs 23,162 crore from Rs 19,649 crore in FY25.
