to update: TMZ and other media outlets report that Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson are officially married.
The couple’s wedding is still scheduled to take place in the Bahamas this weekend, but in order to make the marriage valid in the United States, they said “I do” before leaving Palm Beach.
Congratulations to the happy couple. Now we’ll see if President Trump will attend the ceremony (don’t bet on it).

When is the least expected wedding of 2026?

This year, Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 25, which is the earliest date the holiday can take place.
Therefore, the weekend begins on Saturday, May 23.
Don Jr. and Anderson will reportedly marry in front of a relatively small group of guests on a private island in the Bahamas. This crowd definitely seems to love private islands.
The guest list will reportedly include family and friends, which is standard for a wedding.
Previous reports mentioned how the couple was apparently in a rush to tie the knot.
Back in April, Page six They talked about how quickly they allegedly hoped to get married – at the time, with a view to the next few months.
(In fact, May is literally the next month).
Previously, the two were reportedly considering getting married at the White House, even if the unfinished ballroom project is a long time coming (and hopefully never completed).
However, they reportedly backed out of a lavish wedding at the nation’s Capitol in light of the groom’s father waging war and making an already bad economy worse. (It is not clear why unpopularity would be a deterrent for the son and not the father, but… Page six He didn’t explain that.)
The wedding was just last month
In April, Anderson’s Mar-a-Lago wedding kicked off with an enchanted garden theme.
The ceremony was attended by several future in-laws, including Ivanka and Tiffany Trump.
Even Kay Trump, Don Jr.’s daughter who has begun building a brand on social media, was part of the gathering.
And many of the other attendees — Yaz Hernandez, Amy Phelan, Audrey Gross, Daphne Oz, Dina Powell McCormick, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, Andrea Wen, and Amy Beyer — are less well-known.
However, it is important to keep written records of Trump family associates. Of course, being part of the wedding party makes attending the wedding very likely.
Don Jr. popped the question on December 13 at Camp David, of course.
It is appropriate that the same proposal was made on American taxpayer property.
Don Jr. played a less active role in his father’s regime this time, but he reaped many benefits and received government contracts.
