A legend whose warmth and artistry will live on forever. My deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones. Om Shanti.”

The family is expected to make an official statement soon. His funeral was held at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Vile Parle, Mumbai. Esha Deol, Hema Malini, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan And Salman Khan
were seen arriving at the funeral. Dharmendra has worked in over 300 films in his six-decade career. His popular films include Bandini (1963), Haqeeqat (1964), Sholay (1975) and Mera Gaon Mera.
