Dharmendra died at the age of 89 on Monday, November 24, in Mumbai. While the late actor’s family has yet to make an official statement, the news has been confirmed by police sources.

As soon as news of his death broke, tributes poured in on social media. Not only from Hindi cinema but also South Indian stars mourned the loss of the legend Mohanlal.

Mohanlal mourns the death of Hindi cinema legend Dharmendra. Mohanlal took to his X account to express his grief over the death of veteran actor Dharmendra. The Malayalam cinema legend wrote: “The death of Dharmendraji marks the end of a cinematic era.

A legend whose warmth and artistry will live on forever. My deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones. Om Shanti.”

Not just Mohanlal, but several actors from the southern film industry like Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth, Jr NTR, Allu Arjun and others have also shared posts mourning the death of the legendary actor.

According to PTI, police sources have confirmed the news of his death. Soon, fans flooded social media with tributes to the late actor.

The family is expected to make an official statement soon. His funeral was held at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Vile Parle, Mumbai. Esha Deol, Hema Malini, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan And Salman Khan

were seen arriving at the funeral. Dharmendra has worked in over 300 films in his six-decade career. His popular films include Bandini (1963), Haqeeqat (1964), Sholay (1975) and Mera Gaon Mera.
