When Quentin Tarantino warned Brad Pitt on the set of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: “You're going to die in this business.”

Director Quentin Tarantino may be gearing up for his next film with Brad Pitt with The Adventures of Cliff Booth, but according to the latest reports, tensions have been rising on the set of their previous film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.Veteran actor Bruce Dern raised eyebrows when he referred to an incident on set, in which the director appeared to threaten the star that his Hollywood career would be “over”. While speaking with People magazine during festivities for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of the documentary “Dernsie,” Dern opened up about the dispute that occurred on set.Recalling the scene, he explained how he improvised a line during the take, which elicited a somewhat unexpected reaction from Pitt. “When Brad Pitt woke me up in ‘Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood,’ I was in bed and I woke up a little groggy and saying, ‘I’m not really sure what’s going on,’” he said. “I’m looking at him. [Pitt] Camera cut. He cut the camera. The look on Quentin’s face — I mean he was crazy tough — and he said, “Brad, what did you just do?”Dern revealed that Pitt kept explaining that the improvised line wasn’t part of the script and so he “cut the camera.”

However, this sparked an angry response from Tarantino, who warned him: “Never cut a camera again in your life or you’ll die in this business. This is my business.”According to Dern, Pitt insisted, “Well, that’s not what he said in the script.”Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was a critical and commercial success. The film received 10 nominations at the Academy Awards and won two Oscars, including Best Supporting Actor for Pitt.

According to the latest reports, Pitt will return to play stuntman Cliff Booth, in a Netflix film scheduled to be released in December of this year. Directed by the director

David Fincher

Written by Tarantino, the film is a sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and is set in 1977 Hollywood. The film will be released in IMAX theaters globally on November 25 for two weeks exclusively before arriving on Netflix on December 23, Netflix said in a statement.
