Two and a half years after Perry’s death, an auction on June 5 will feature 130 items of his personal belongings, with the proceeds going to his addiction and substance abuse foundation. The main title is A Banksy Girl with balloon (Estimate $800,000). But there’s also Perry’s 1995 SAG Award, a personal replica of the famous yellow peephole frame from Monica’s apartment, and a hologram of “Mattman” with a Batman mask from 2016. Jimmy Kimmel Live! Appearance and 26 his friends Scripts covering key episodes including “The One With Ross’s Tan”.

But the real treasure is easier to miss. After the show wrapped, Aniston compiled candid photo albums from the cast’s private dinner — a memento she gave to each of her co-stars — and placed a personal note inside Perry’s album that turned out to be more of a farewell than either of them could ever know.

“Oh my God, how would I live without your light in my life on a daily basis? I know that light was dim at times, and there were moments I was so afraid it would go out completely,” she wrote. She thanked him for “choosing to live this life.” She signed: “I love you. Jenny!”
