Actor Darshan Thugudeepa is fighting Renukaswamy’s murder case in court, and the recent events are said to have affected him mentally. After the Supreme Court dealt a blow to his bail application, Darshan eagerly waited to meet his family members inside the prison premises.
Permission was later granted to hold an internal meeting with his wife and son. Reports claim that the emotional reunion left the actor and his family in tears.
The emotional reunion leaves Darshan in tears
According to News 18, Darshan became emotional the moment his wife and son entered the meeting area. The actor reportedly hugged them tightly and broke down in tears. It was also said that his wife and son became emotional during the meeting. Reports also said that Vijayalakshmi Darshan sought special permission for the family meeting through senior officials, and Darshan himself also submitted a request through the jail authorities.
The meeting was finally held on May 19 under the supervision of prison officials and monitored by surveillance cameras.
The wedding anniversary wish brings a short smile for darshan
During the meeting, Darshan reportedly spent time talking closely with his son Vignesh, and smiled briefly during their conversation. Reports said that Vijayalakshmi wished her husband on their wedding anniversary while holding his hand, and Darshan responded warmly. Apart from his wife and son, his manager Nagaraju and another woman were also present during the interaction.
The meeting reportedly took place in the presence of an additional observer inside the prison barracks. Only fruits are allowed to be brought to the representative during the visit.
Darshan is silent again after the family visit
After the meeting ended, reports claim that Darshan Thugudeepa returned to silence inside his barrack. He reportedly seemed very upset and avoided talking much, even with fellow prisoners. It is also said that he did not eat the fruit brought by his family and instead kept it aside in his cupboard.
Officials are closely monitoring the actor’s condition, especially after allegations that he is mentally affected after his bail plea was rejected.
Discussions regarding his next legal steps are also believed to have taken place during the emotional family meeting.
