FX heads to Transylvania with series order for A very young Frankenstein.

A comedy based on the classic Mel Brooks novel Young Frankensteinhas been in development for about a year and received a beta order last September. Brooks is executive producer of the series, which will co-star Zach Galifianakis, Dolly Wells and Spencer House. It will carry FX and Hulu A very young Frankenstein.

Stephanie Robinson (Atlanta, What We Do in the Shadows), who wrote the pilot, and Taika Waititi, who directed the film, will executive produce A very young Frankenstein With Garrett Bash, Brooks and his producing partner Kevin Salter and Young Frankenstein Producer Michael Grosskopf.
