Over the years, Selena Gomez has been quite open about her journey with lupus. The star revealed in an old interview that she suffered from many problems because of it, including arthritis.
In order to address this problem in her own way, the star revealed how she made the packaging of her products easier to access.
Selena Gomez reveals that lupus affected her brand’s packaging
Last year, during an appearance on Good Hang with Amy Poehler, Gomez opened up about the difficulties she faced due to lupus, which in turn also affected how her cosmetics brand is manufactured.For the past two years, the singer and actress has been a business owner and has been running her own beauty brand. She revealed during the podcast that she was suffering from arthritis due to her lupus, which severely affected her daily life. Not only that, she revealed that to make things more convenient, she also ended up influencing the way her brand’s packaging is made!“So, I remember before the brand, I would try to open a water bottle and it would hurt so bad before I took the proper medication,” she stated.
“We made the products easy to open in a way, and then we realized, ‘Wait — it kind of has to be this way,'” she explained. “Then we started making each product with a purpose [working for] anyone [has] Dexterity problems.She further commented that all of this is very important to her and that she wants to make her products as “easy and accessible” to everyone at any age as she can.
Over the years, Gomez has been quite open about her journey with lupus and how she actively takes medication as well.
