JEE Advance 2026: Answer key, objection window, result date and admission process- Full details for candidates With the exam now over, candidates are waiting for the release of answer key, result, rank list and next steps in the admission process. IIT Roorkee has already shared the post-exam schedule on the official JEE Advanced portal. This includes issuance of candidates’ answer sheets, provisional answer key, feedback window, final answer key, announcement of results, among others.

JEE Advanced 2026 Answer Key and Response Sheet

The response sheets of candidates who appeared in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be made available online on 21 May 2026 at 17:00 IST.

Thereafter, the provisional answer key will be released on 25 May 2026 at 10:00 IST, followed by a comment window for candidates from 25 May to 26 May 2026 (until 17:00 IST), where they can raise objections or share comments. The final answer key will be released on 1 June 2026 at 10:00 IST. Candidates’ marks will be calculated strictly on the basis of the final answer key, and no changes will be allowed after its release.

JEE Advanced 2026 Result Date and Rank

JEE Advanced 2026 result will be announced on June 1, 2026. After the result, all India Rankings (AIR) by category will be available on the official portal.Rank lists will be prepared based on overall marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

AAT 2026 for admission to B.Arch

Candidates interested in B.Arch programs at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee must qualify the Architectural Aptitude Test (AAT).

There is no separate classification in the AAT. Candidates just need to qualify to be eligible for admission into B.Arch.

Admissions and counseling process

Admissions to International Technical Institutes and other institutes will be done through JoSAA 2026 counseling. Candidates must fill their course and select preferences online after the results are declared. Seats will be allocated strictly based on JEE Advanced rank, category and seat availability.For admission into IIT, candidates must also fulfill Class XII criteria, including minimum marks of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or top 20 percentile in their board exams.Candidates are advised to visit the official JEE Advanced website regularly to get updates about counselling, deadlines and seat allotment schedules.
