'Arjun Kapoor is 10 times better': Saurabh Dwivedi brutally mocked in his debut in Saif Ali Khan's film 'Kartavia'

The newly released crime drama ‘Kartavya’, starring Saif Ali Khan, has received a lot of praise on social media, but not all the cast members have escaped scrutiny. Journalist-turned-actor Saurabh Dwivedi found himself at the receiving end of harsh criticism online, with viewers on X picking out his performance with crude and often brutal statements.

Netizens review Saurabh Dwivedi’s performance in ‘Kartavya’

Many X users wasted no time in criticizing Saurabh Dwivedi’s acting in the Saif Ali Khan-starrer Kartavya, with many comparing his dialogue to a news broadcast rather than a dramatic performance. One user wrote, “Saurabh Dwivedi was a bad journalist. Now he became an actor. He behaved so badly that people say he would have been better off as a journalist. His acting was so bad that they cut his climax scene. Even KRK would probably do better than him.”Another commented that “I behaved in a way that people now say, brother, for the love of God, please stop behaving from now on.”The third user was more measured but still critical, writing, “Saurabh Dwivedi’s dialogue delivery in the film seems very average.” Comment I read, “I started watching the movie last night and didn’t read any reviews or anything and the acting left me feeling very underwhelmed. It’s like he’s just saying the lines.

Arjun Kapoor is 10 times better than this.”
