Saturday Night Live It concluded its 51st season on Saturday night, with Will Ferrell returning to host the long-running comedy series.

Before his opening monologue, You are cordially invited The actor appeared in the film Cold Open alongside James Austin Johnson Trump, in which he portrayed the ghost of Jeffrey Epstein.

Upon returning from his trip to China, the fake president chose to rest and take a nap “on this gold bar that Switzerland gave me as a direct bribe.” As he drifted off to sleep, a cloudy vision of none other than Epstein appeared, in ghost form.

“Don’t worry, Donald, it’s me, your best friend Jeffrey Epstein,” he said. Trump Johnson replied: “Jeffrey, I thought you were dead.”

“Me, remember? I killed myself.” wink!Ferrell’s Epstein added. The two started catching up, with Trump asking Epstein what heaven was like. “It’s really hot,” he revealed.

“You know me, I’m busy playing mahjong every Wednesday with Stalin and John Wayne Gacy. This guy has stories,” Ferrell’s Epstein said. “What else? Oh, I just wrote to Kevin Hart’s BBQ. And I had some ginger in there.”

Trump gave him a rundown of his “exciting summer plans,” which include this year’s Patriot Games, which will bring together a group of high school athletes from every state and territory.

“Well, you know, we have the UFC World Cup game on my lawn and I’m white trash at WorldStar, and we also do the Patriot Games where high school athletes come from all over the country,” Johnson said. “Bo-oi-oi-oi-oing,” Ferrell’s Epstein replied.

He added: “We had some fun times together, didn’t we, Donnie? We should have taken more pictures.” “No, it’s really bad that we took any of it,” Trump-Johnson confirmed.

Ferrell’s Epstein then revealed that he can see the future, and offered to show Trump what Kristi Noem (Ashley Padilla) will be doing in six months after she was fired earlier this year. It turned out that she would be selling the products on TV. It also provided a look into the future of Pete Hegseth (Colin Jost), who was partying with Kash Patel, marking the third week in a row that Aziz Ansari has joined Cold Open to portray the FBI director.

Before Trump and Epstein parted ways again, they performed a duet to the tune of Grover Washington Jr.’s “Just the Two of Us.” Ferrell’s Epstein left him a remarkable message: “Well, Donnie, just remember, no matter how many wars you wage or how badly you hurt the economy as a distraction, people will always associate you with me. And that, my dear, best friend, is a beautiful thing.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith broke up Ferrell’s monologue before the actor had a chance to appear on stage. He began to address the audience as if it were him dwarf Star himself.

“I am happy to be back here Saturday Night Live. “I’ve been a cast member here for seven years, and now I’m hosting for the sixth time. It really feels like I’m coming home,” Smith said.

Ferrell then joined Smith on stage, asking, “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

Smith replied, “I think I’m hosting the show,” to which the actor replied, “You’re not the host, I am!” The pair looked strikingly similar, wearing almost identical suits and sporting their hair styled similarly.

Ferrell appeared upset and joked about the mistake, choosing to “do what a host does when he doesn’t have any ideas. I’ll just take questions from the audience.” He then called the “nice guy” who happened to be Paul McCartney.

“What do you think you’re doing, Chad?” said the former Beatle.

“No, Sir Paul McCartney, why don’t you come here?” Ferrell said. “I understand your confusion, Chad and I look a lot alike, but I’m Will. I’m hosting tonight.”

McCartney responded: “Nice try, Chad. Get back behind the drums where they belong.”

To add to the episode’s star-studded cameo, Ferrell star Co-star Molly Shannon also appeared in a later sketch. During the final “Weekend Update” segment of Season 51, Jost and Michael Che engaged in a joke exchange tradition, in which they took turns telling jokes they had written to each other that they were not privy to.

Jost read a joke about Kanye West, saying, “I released a new album called BullySo please try to separate the art from the artist and remember that you can make terrible music and still be right about Hitler.

To top it off, Che almost asked Jost to shave his hair off on live television.

“Now, this joke is offensive to everyone, and I apologize,” Jost said after the West joke. “I would sacrifice the most important thing in my life, my beautiful, award-winning, world-famous hair. That’s right, I’ll shave it off. Send the barber.”

Then a man entered the stage with a pair of scissors, as Jost said: “Jerome, make me unbeautiful.” Che stopped him before he could shave off any of Ghost’s hair: “No, no, no! You were really going to do that? Man, you’re the greatest comedian of all time.”

The six-time Emmy Award winner appeared for the sixth time at the end of Season 51. He, of course, used to be SNL A cast member from 1995 to 2002, he went on to make his debut as host in 2005.
