Ayushmann Khurrana says no Forbidden topics Leave to work on
From sperm donation in his debut ‘Vicky Donor’ (2012) to erectile dysfunction in ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ (2017), Ayushmann has made taboo subjects his signature. But while speaking on The Right Angle with Sonal Kalra, the actor was clear that he doesn’t have anything else to offer yet on this path. When asked what taboo topic he would like to explore next, Ayushmann said, “I think Main Saree Taboo Topics Khatma Kar Dee Hain (laughs).
I have worked in many films based on it. It limits the family audience. You have made films on taboo topics before the Covid pandemic. Even after that, I did Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and Doctor G, which did not do as much at the box office as I had hoped.Ayushmann admitted that the pandemic represents a turning point, both for Bollywood and for his choices as an actor.“After OTT became big, I only looked for films meant for a wider audience,” he added.
Taboo Break se zyaada (More than just breaking taboos), which are interconnected themes that people can watch together. Everything was very different before the pandemic; The films I have done have created a huge buzz at the box office. But things changed after the pandemic.”
