In response, Abhishek Bachchan told News18, “Riteish and Genelia (Deshmukh) have made a Marathi film on a very limited budget. A film with a budget of Rs 1,000 crore for VFX, unlike a film with a much smaller budget, will look different.”He urged against comparing Indian films with Hollywood VFX films. “They have budgets. Just to give you the scale, they might end up spending more than Rs 5,000 crore on VFX alone. We can’t compete with that. We’re probably working here at one per cent of that at best for our VFX,” he added. The film was released in theaters on May 1, 2026.Disclaimer: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
