Sudharsen was hit on the last ball of the third ball bowled by Kartik Tyagi. While trying to hit the ball for a short-length shot, Sudharsan was hit by timing and the ball hit his left elbow. He managed to complete the backward square leg but immediately fell to the ground in pain and took off his gloves.
A physiotherapist rushed onto the field and an ice pack was applied to Sudharsen’s left elbow before he retired injured.
