Norwegian football star Erling Haaland makes his film debut, playing a Viking Vicoinsthe upcoming animated film from fellow Norwegian Harald Zwart (Karate kid, Agent Cody Banks), Hollywood Reporter I’ve learned.
Haaland will voice an animated version of himself, a Viking named Haaland, in the film, which is described as an animated adventure comedy set in “a world of brave warrior girls, icy fjords, and the legends of the Silk Road.”
For Haaland fans, this pick couldn’t be more fitting. Standing 6’5″ tall with a muscular build, tremendous attacking speed and shoulder-length locks, the Norwegian striker has long been compared to a Viking warrior. Haaland is only 25 years old and is already a legend of the sport.
