Streamer ChudTheBuilder charged with attempted murder after Tennessee courthouse shootingAccording to officials, the shooting occurred outside the Montgomery County Courthouse. Prosecutor Robert J. Nash confirmed that both Etherly and another unidentified man were involved in the altercation.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said Etherly faces several serious charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, and use of a firearm during a dangerous felony.

Officials also confirmed that he is currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail until bail is set during a hearing.

Police have not publicly identified the second man involved in the confrontation. However, a witness who claimed to have seen the aftermath said the injured man was loaded into an ambulance shortly after the shooting. Authorities did not share further details about his identity or condition.The incident also renewed discussion about Eatherly’s past online behavior. Local resident Claire Martin, who works across the street from the courthouse, claimed the streamer was already known in Clarksville for allegedly provoking people while filming public videos. She accused him of shouting racial slurs and trying to get reactions from strangers during the live broadcast.Martin said she did not witness the shooting itself but saw what happened afterward. According to her, the other man appeared conscious and even waved to people before entering the ambulance.As the investigation continues, many netizens are closely following the case, especially due to ChudTheBuilder’s controversial online reputation and history of viral confrontations.
