Speaking to reporters outside the hospital, the SP chief expressed his condolences on Prateek’s death, saying the two knew each other since childhood, adding that his death is a matter of great sadness. “Financial losses can break a person.”
“I have known him since childhood. He is no longer with us, it is very sad. Since his childhood, he was very conscious of his health and physical well-being and was looking forward to moving forward in life and making a meaningful contribution,” Akhilesh Yadav said.
“Of course, we will act according to the law. Whatever the legal provisions dictate, whatever the family members ask for, we will abide by that,” Yadav added.
Akhilesh Yadav also said that he cannot do anything about the reality and said that he met Ratik only about two months ago. “Even then, I asked him to take care of his health and focus on expanding his business. Sometimes, financial losses in business can break a person emotionally. He is no longer between us. We will do whatever the family decides,” the SP chief added.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also offered his condolences on Pratik Yadav’s death, saying it was “extremely heartbreaking”.
In a post on X, Adityanath said that he will pray to God that the deceased soul may find eternal peace and strength for the bereaved family.
