This is exactly the nightmare experienced by Jim, one of the heroes of the satirical cartoon Jim Quinnis the world premiere in the Cannes Film Festival’s midnight screening lineup Sunday through Monday.
The feature film is written and directed by Nicolas Athany and Marco Nguyen, who co-wrote it with Simone Balto and Bryce Chevellard. David Alric and Arthur Delapis of French animation studio Bobbypills (Commando Creatures) produced the film in which Global Constellation handles sales.

The voice cast also includes Jeremy Gillette and gay porn icon François Sagat, among others. In the clip from the film, we get to enter Jim’s temple of fitness and enjoy some of his routines, before getting our first look at the potential horror that threatens to undermine all the success and fame of a life of zero percent body fat that he’s built for himself over time.
The exclusive clip also takes us to a medical center where Jim hopes to discover what may or may not be making him sick. Are those pearls of sweat of fear on the face of his medical advisor and friend?! A word of warning: her diagnosis will shock not only Jim, but you too!
