'Raja Shivaji' Box Office Collection Day 12: Riteish Desnmukh Starrer Eyes Rs 90 Crore Collection. It is set to become the second highest grossing Marathi film

‘Raja Shivaji’, starring Riteish Deshmukh, continues to achieve its dream run at the box office. The historical epic, currently in its second week in theaters, is slowly making its way into the record books.According to sacnilk’s box office report, the film crossed the Rs 20-crore mark in its second week and is now steadily on its way towards becoming one of the highest-grossing Marathi films of all time. The film, which completed 12 days at the box office, earned an estimated Rs 2.50 crore. This was an increase of Rs 10 lakh from the box office collections made on Monday, as the film clocked an estimated collection of Rs 2.40 lakh after a good second weekend. The film opened strongly in its first week, collecting Rs 52.65 crore, and maintained excellent consistency in its second week with collections already touching Rs 20.5 crore. As per the latest trade figures, the film has grossed Rs 73.15 crore in net collections across an impressive 60,155 shows.‘Raja Shivaji’ has emerged as a major success story of Marathi cinema in 2026, as it is said to have amassed a whopping Rs 86.65 crore in global gross collections within just 12 days of its theatrical release.

In this sense, the report states that the entire total of collections came from India alone.Strong momentum now puts Raja Shivaji on track to become the second highest grossing Marathi film of all time.As of May 2026, ‘Sairat’ remains the highest-grossing Marathi film of all time, with an estimated global gross of around Rs 110 crore. However, trade reports suggest that Raja Shivaji’s film may challenge this norm soon if it continues its current pace at the box office.

The film is set to surpass the collections of ‘Baipan Bhaari Deva’, which has grossed approximately Rs 90-92 crore globally. Also directed by Deshmukh himself, the historical drama has maintained its dominance at the box office despite competition from various film releases over the past two weeks. Not only did it face the Hollywood blockbuster “The Devil Wears Prada 2”, but it also faced competition from more recent releases such as the action movie “Mortal Kombat II” and the biopic “Michael”.
