Madonna’s next album Confessions IIinspired a cinematic visual work that will have its world premiere at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival.

The show will be followed on June 5 by a conversation with the Queen of Pop and directors David Toro, Solomon Chase (TORSO) and Jimmy Fallon.

the Confessions II Built around the first six tracks from Madonna’s upcoming album of the same name, including her debut single “I Feel So Free” and “Bring Your Love” featuring Sabrina Carpenter, the visual work weaves together interconnecting music-driven sequences into an immersive cinematic experience.

Confessions II “It lives in tension between control and surrender, between appearing and disappearing in a crowd,” the festival said of the project in an announcement on Tuesday. “Each song unfolds across six chapters, each one a thrilling story, a dance illusion, and an epic fever dream. Like the album, it blurs distinctions between tracks, constructing cosmic narratives that follow the twisted logic of a dream. The result is a transcendent journey that catapults the viewer through a difficult night that remembers not what happened, but how it felt. Madonna is ambushed and taken to task. Pursued and ultimately worshiped by a roaming group of women who carry the camera from the bedroom to the club bathroom, to the car, to the arena, and even in nature, wandering through the many spaces where music thrives, within these sanctuaries, we discover reflections on the dualities that have accompanied Madonna’s entire career: privacy and publicity, sadness and catharsis, intimacy and communication, publicity and collaboration but everything always returns to the sacred place that started it all: the dance floor.

A post-screening conversation will explore the creative process behind the project.

“Madonna has spent decades proving that reinvention is her own art form,” Tribeca Festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal said in a statement. “Confessions II feels immersive, provocative and perfectly reflective of the moment, while still channeling the kind of nightlife legends that only she can create. We’re thrilled to welcome Madonna back to Tribeca.”

Confessions II It is scheduled to be released on Friday, July 3.

Tribeca Festival 2026 is scheduled to run from June 3-14 in New York.
