There’s a royal drama at stake, and the roster is shaping up. Prince Harry seeks to board a plane to the UK’s royal palace to mark the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games.
However, the Duke has a list of demands about how Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, will be treated if she returns.
Prince Harry has a ‘list of demands’ from Meghan Markle’s royal members
After an exit that caused numerous headlines and sparks around the world, the 41-year-old prince does not want Markle to be portrayed as the “bad guy.” Furthermore, Harry was seeking to give the ‘Suits’ actress a fair chance by his family members. “Harry has come forward with all these demands on Meghan’s behalf, and it rubs a lot of people the wrong way,” Radar Online said.
Referring to how things turned out in the past, the insider confirmed that the prince had no other choice.
Previously, Meghan Markle joined the royal family in June 2022 to participate in the National Thanksgiving Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral to mark the platinum jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, and then in September to attend the funeral. However, the duo were reportedly booed by the audience. Not only were they seated far away from senior working royals, according to the aforementioned outlet, but Meghan was also shunned by the family.
“The last thing he wants is for Meghan to get into a situation where she feels judged, and he says all he’s asking is that she be treated with basic respect and not be painted as the bad guy before anything happens,” the report continued, expressing the list of demands as a form of reassurance. On the other hand, senior royals are allegedly angry at Prince Harry’s bold request ahead of his trip. “The fact that it’s all centered around Meghan again, she’s supposed to be treated with kid gloves,” the source said.
Meghan Markle’s demands
Earlier, royal insider Rob Shooter reported on Meghan Markle’s demands if she agreed to attend the 2027 Los Angeles Summer Games. The actress asked for extra security outside while staff weren’t looking, and insisted on four floors of the Birmingham Hyatt hotel being locked down.
