The Haunted Mansion tells the story of Akshay Kumar’s film

Bhooth Bangla revolves around Arjun Acharya, played by Akshay Kumar, who inherits a large ancestral mansion in Mangalpur village. He decided to host his sister Mira’s wedding there. Meera is portrayed by Mithila Palkar.

Soon a series of strange events begin to destabilize the family. Frightened locals believe the palace hides dark secrets. Arjun is forced to investigate the property’s mysterious past and the real reason his estranged grandfather left it to him.ETimes’ review of the film says: “The film’s narrative and treatment follow a familiar path, inspired by the nostalgia of Bhool Bhulia and even Bhagam Bhaag.

The first half is entertaining, driven by Priyadarshan’s kind of risqué comedy, and several scenes will leave viewers giggling as the quartet of Kumar, Rawal, Yadav, and Asrani embrace physicality and exaggeration with gusto. There is a scene where Arjun is performing puja for his sister’s wedding, and the teacher asks him to pick up a sword saying, “Ab isey kaato”, which means to cut the stem of the plant, but Arjun bites the sword instead.

The comedic timing here, and in most of the film’s humorous moments, is noteworthy. The film brings together an ensemble cast that includes Paresh Rawal, Jisshu Sengupta, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu and Wamika Gabhi in the lead roles.Disclaimer: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
