Controversial internet builder Dalton ChudTheBuilder is finally speaking out after his recent arrest in Nashville sparked a heated debate across social media. Reports of the incident first began circulating online on May 9, 2026, after clips of his live broadcast appeared on X.
In one short video shared by user @FearedBuck, two police officers are seen confronting the streamer before one of the officers handcuffs him. According to online discussions, the situation started after an argument at Bob’s ChopHouse restaurant over an unpaid bill.A day later, on May 10, ChudTheBuilder posted several updates to X explaining his side of the story. He claimed that the authorities took his phones as evidence, leaving him unable to contact anyone for hours.
The broadcaster also surprised many followers after he said he was questioned by FBI officials and a domestic terrorism investigator while in custody. His comments quickly spread across social media, with thousands of users reacting to the arrest and its explanation.
The incident added another layer of controversy around the streamer, who had already been banned indefinitely from Kick on April 29 following previous online disputes.

In one of his posts on X, ChudTheBuilder described spending nearly 13 hours in a reservation before returning to his Airbnb. “The phones were seized as evidence of the crime,” he wrote. There is no way to contact anyone. Just got back to my Airbnb after 13 hours of detention for leaving a restaurant when I was asked to. Bob Chophouse. The FBI and a domestic terrorism investigator interviewed me for about two hours before they took me into custody, asking me if I was part of an organization.
“No sir, I’m just a guy with a camera.”The post immediately sparked strong reactions online. Some users criticized the broadcaster’s behavior, while others questioned the seriousness of the investigation. “I guarantee you caused a scene and disturbed the public peace,” wrote X user @HurricaneJones3. Another user, @Ech0Vex22, commented: “If you’re broke, just say so. I’m sure one of your supporters would have footed the bill.”Later on May 10, ChudTheBuilder also responded directly to accusations that he left the restaurant without paying after eating his food. In response to X user @daking0146, he claimed that he did not receive his entire order and did not complete what was given to him.He wrote: “I partially ate the two appetizers I ordered. I never got my meal and was unable to enjoy or finish the food I got. He said into the camera: ‘Okay, go then.’ He was angry, so I told him and then told the guests who stopped me to take a picture of me on my way out to not eat there anymore.”So far, authorities have not publicly shared more details about the investigation.
