White lotus Some last-minute guests are being booked for its fourth season.
Ben Kingsley, Max Minghella and Pekka Strang have joined the cast of the HBO series as filming continues in France. All three actors will have recurring roles in the upcoming season and, according to HBO, will complete the series’ ensemble.
As was the case throughout White lotus Casting Process Details of the roles Kingsley, Minghella, and Strange will play are being kept under (deluxe, high thread count) covers. Season 4 is currently being filmed in Cannes and Saint-Tropez, France (with some filming also taking place in Paris) and will be set against the backdrop of the Cannes Film Festival – which starts on Tuesday in real life.
Kingsley, Minghella and Strange join a cast that also includes (deep breath) Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Laura Dern – who came on board following the departure of Helena Bonham Carter – Caleb Jonty Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Vela, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, AJ Michalka, Kumail Nanjiani and Nadia Tereshkiewicz, along with Chloe Bennet. Sandra Bernhard, Heather Graham, Max Greenfield, Frieda Gustafson, Charlie Hall, Jerad Paul, Rosie Perez, Ben Schnitzer, and Laura Smit.
Season 4 uses the Airelles Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez and the historic Hotel Martinez on the Croisette in Cannes as locations for the White Lotus. It is the first time the series has featured two of the fictional luxury hotel chain’s properties/Murder Magnets in the same season.
Kingsley exits Marvel The miracle man on Disney+ (which has been picked up for a second season) and the shark thriller Deep water. It also includes the Oscar winner’s recent work Murder Club Thursday and Killer game.
former The Handmaid’s Tale Regular Minghella has joined HBO industry for its recently completed fourth season and has a role in the upcoming DC Studios film Clayface. Strang’s credits include Netflix work The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die and Master8 In his homeland, Finland.
