'Dhurandhar' actor Gaurav Gera defends Ranveer Singh amid rumors of five vans on set as Farah Khan says give him more: 'I haven't seen'

Amid the success of ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar 2’, Ranveer Singh recently found himself at the center of discussions over reports claiming that he ordered several vanities on the sets of Aditya Dhar. However, his co-star Gaurav Gera has now denied the rumors while sharing his experience of working with the actor.Film director and choreographer

Farah Khan

Recently, she visited Gaurav’s residence in Mumbai with her chef Dilip in one of her vlogs. During the interaction, Gaurav spoke about his acting journey, his comedy career, his role in Dhurandhar, and his equation with Ranveer Singh. While chatting, Farah brought up a funny behind-the-scenes moment from the film featuring Ranveer. Recalling the incident, Gaurav said that Ranveer comically imitated the famous ‘Chutki’ character during the script reading session.“We were sitting to read Dhurandhar, and it went on for a long time. In the middle, Ranveer took a break to go to the bathroom. I had a beard at that time. He followed me and joked with me in that voice saying, ‘Chutki, bathroom jayeji?’ It’s so much fun, totally naughty. It’s great.”Farah then jokingly commented on the actor’s vanity demands and said, “What a talent. 5 van aur dedo usko, Dhurandhar ke baad (Give him 5 more vans after Dhurandhar).”

However, Gaurav immediately dismissed the speculation and explained, “I have not seen this many trucks.” Farah laughed and replied: I will give it to him if he wants it.Rumors of Ranveer ordering three vans during the shoot surfaced last year, with some fans pointing to Dhurandhar’s credits as evidence. However, the cast denied the allegations at the time. The conversation also touched on the growing entourage culture in Bollywood.

Director Sanjay Gupta had previously spoken about this issue during a podcast with Cyrus Brocha. He said, “I know certain actors who have six make-up vans. It’s mandatory. The first van is his personal space. It’s true, I’m very serious. Wahan saab nanga baithte hain (Master sits naked in that van). Then, next to that other van of Saab, wahan pe saab make-up and hair karte hain (There, sir has done his make-up and hair).

Uske baaju mein ho meetings van jahan saab karte hain (In the next truck, my master is holding his meetings).

Listen to me. There is a fourth truck that houses his gym. Wahaan saab try karte hain (my sir works there). I said fine. You have to keep one thing in mind; The training van means he will bring his coach, assistant, truck driver and maintenance man in the truck. That means six people in one truck. Then, makeup, hair and stylists have their own assistants.Aside from the candid conversation, Farah also received a tour of Gaurav’s stylish home, which features a minimalist white aesthetic, neutral interiors and indoor plants. The trio later headed to the kitchen to prepare potato bhindi and bharva aloo baingan together. At the end of the video, Farah funnyly revealed that her chef Dilip initially didn’t know much about cooking, so she would send him to the homes of celebrities like…
