The pre-sales of Mohanlal’s film in Kerala have crossed Rs 1 crore

The film has already crossed the major milestone of advance booking. According to film industry tracker AB George, pre-sales for the opening day in Kerala have crossed Rs 1 crore. The positive trend is not limited to Kerala. The film’s worldwide advance booking total has already crossed Rs 4 crore.

The tweet read: “Kerala advance sales on opening day of #Drishyam3 cross Rs 1 Crore with limited offers, as global advance crosses Rs 4 Crore.

Excellent start @Mohanlal @jeethu4ever.”‘Drishyam 3’ continues the story of Georgekutty and his family. Meena, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil return to reprise their roles. The cast also includes Siddique, Asha Sharath and Murali Gopi.

The trailer launch of ‘Drishyam 3’ reveals a new mystery

The much-awaited trailer was launched in Kochi on Saturday. During the event, Jeethu Joseph revealed that Georgekutty is facing a completely different kind of threat this time.

“The difference between the first, second and third parts is that Georgekutty does not know if there is someone behind him, and if so, who it is,” he said.The director added: “In the first two parts, he knew that the police and the dead boy’s family were after him. But in this part, he doesn’t know who he is. I’m not saying there won’t be any elements that will surprise you.”

Mohanlal hints at more ‘Drishyam’ films.

While launching the trailer, Mohanlal suggested that Georgekutty’s story may continue beyond this part. In a light but meaningful comment, he hinted that there could be more sequels. Mohanlal said, “This is not a joke. Let people watch the film and let them decide whether we should make a sequel, like four or five.”The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters worldwide on May 21, 2026.
