When she pointed out her mother in the audience, the actress said excitedly: “Hi mom, you look so beautiful.” However, when Kate McCauley Hathaway stood up, she quickly corrected her daughter in a funny moment.“Annie, honey, stand up straight,” Kate joked as she smiled at her daughter, leaving everyone in the room divided.The scripted moment quickly turned into a close exchange between mother and daughter as Hathaway responded, saying, “Okay mom, I got the message, please sit down,” as she continued the clip with a smile on her face.
