Lucknow Super Giants batsman Josh Inglis returned to the playing XI for the important IPL 2026 match against Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday, and made an immediate impact with the bat.The Australian wicket-keeper-batsman has joined the IPL season midway through. Inglis played against Mumbai Indians earlier in the season but failed to make an impact and later suffered an injury during that match, forcing him to miss the next match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

After recovering from the injury, Inglis made his comeback against CSK and played one of the best knocks for LSG this season. He attacked from the start, taking full advantage of the fielding restrictions and reached his half-century in just 17 balls.
