“Money Heist” fans may have something else to look forward to before the release of “Money Heist: Berlin” Season 2. In a public trailer, along with an online trailer, the creators of the hit show announced that the world of “Money Heist” is expanding once again.
This announcement, ahead of the launch of the second season of “Berlin y la dama del Armiño” or “Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine,” left fans of the hit show in a frenzy, wondering what will happen next.

Just days before the launch of Money Heist: Berlin Season 2, the OTT platform hosting the show has announced a brand new spin-off. Although they didn’t give specific details on whether another season of the original series would be released, or if another chapter would be made, the announcement was made in true “Heist” style.Other than releasing a teaser video, they have planned a big adventure in Seville, Spain to announce the upcoming project. What’s On Netflix reported that on May 9, at the Guadalquivir River, a group of people walked down the body of water wearing the famous red suits and white masks. As thousands of people watched the show, the tunes of “Bella Ciao,” the official theme song of the show, played along with them.The video announcement also featured clips from all seasons of the original series, along with a lengthy commentary revealing that the world of “Money Heist” has not yet ended.
“Some stories start with the perfect hit. This one changed everything,” the caption began, also adding that “from the first cash heist to the most brilliant heists of the century, including an assault that put tons of gold from the Bank of Spain at stake, the world of La casa de papel has never ceased to grow, evolve and amaze us.”
But if one thing is clear, it is that the revolution will never end.The video itself concluded with the phrase, “The world of money theft continues.” While the platform has chosen to keep any other details about the show under wraps, the trailer and public fan event have certainly heightened the excitement.

As of now, the series has three branches or chapters in the franchise. There’s the original “Money Heist,” which ran from 2017 to 2021. There’s also a chapter set in South Korea called “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area,” and a third spin-off titled “Berlin.” The first season is set to be released in 2023, while the second season titled “Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine” will be available on Netflix worldwide on May 15.
